Oscar was a once in a lifetime dog. Out of a group winning dam and a sire who had 14 points, both majors, but preferred living life on the sofa, he was pick puppy out of a second breeding. He finished with multiple best in sweeps and two 5 point majors, including a specialty win at 7 months of age. We flew out to the west coast and won best dog in the 1997 Weimaraner Club of America western futurity. All of these wins were owner handled. Oscar had 2 group 1 wins, one with the owner and one with Peggy Roush, during his brief specials career. He is missed.
