Not a bad weekend at the dog shows. Yesterday Brooke won the bred-by class and got reserve winners bitch to a 4 point major. So close. But then reality today and she got 3 out of 3 in the bred-by class. Yesterday Gunner got 2 out of 4 and today 1 out of 3 in the bred-by class. Getting closer.
Ruff is huge with 2 weeks to go.

It's a sad day at Ashcrof weimaraners. Ready lost her long battle with illness and peacefully passed away. Thru everything that went on she kept a great attitude. Rest in peace Ready.

Another national week has passed and we did very repectable. Baylin got 4th in the bred-by exhibitor class and 2nd in 12-18 month sweepstakes class and the DC specialty. Roscoe got 4th in the 12-18 month class at both the DC specialty and the national. Brooke got 3rd in her junior futurity class. Casey had a good time showing in her veteran class. And wha can I say about Mack. He made 2 cuts at both the DC specialty and the national. He behaved like a champ.

Baylin has been making his presence known in the show ring. The last 2 shows he was much better behaved and took his puppy class in January and his bred-by exhibitor class in March. Is a big boy with lots of attitude. Watch for future web page for the Greta X River puppies.
Mack has also been busy. Busy getting that 3rd leg to his CD with a very repectible score of 194. Go Mack and Barb. Now onto working for his CDX. Boy loves to jump so he will be off to a good start.

The newest additions to the ashcrof line made their show debut this weekend. Brook got reserve winners bitch on Saturday. Missy, Baylin and Roscoe had fun, like only puppies can do. Next shows they will hopefully be better behaved.

As you can see I haven't been keeping up with all the Mack news. Mack got his 3rd Rally Novice leg. Scores got better everytime that Barb and Mack showed. Then Mack and Barb weren't finished for the year. Barb really wanted his Weimaraner Club of America Versatile Dog title. Barb and Mack went into the field and got his Junior Hunter title in 4 straight show. What a dog!! Congrats to Barb and Mack on a successful year. Next year plans are for his Companion Dog (CD) title and working toward his senior hunter.

Not a bad day at the dog show. Ruff won the bred-by exhibitor class of 7, behaving much better than she did at the national. Mack won Best of Opposite sex and Barb put his canine good citizen (CGC) title on him.

Mack took Best Dog in Sweeps and made the final cut in the breed at Old Dominion Kennel Club. Just one year ago, at the same show, Mack got his 1st major.

Ruff and Ready made their show debut today. Ruff was the only one in her class (6-9 months) and Ready was one of five in her class (Bred-By-Exhibitor). Ready took second in her class and Ruff took Reserve Winners Bitch. Not a bad start to their show career.
